Hyper Birrarung: A Digital Ecology is a Video Installation. It explores the intricate relationship between the Birrarung (Yarra River) and the urban condition. This project tries to answer two questions: How can we mindfully sense the non-human life around us in a busy urban space? And how can the waterway enhance the awareness of our ecological body? The installation speaks to the vital role of the River as an ecological site that weaves through the urban fabric, highlighting its unique landscape, flora, and fauna while fostering a deeper connection with our environment.
